Anticipating a short walking day, I arose late and ate a liesurely breakfast at Albergue La Casa Mágica of foods purchased from a local grocery store: muesli, soy milk, banana and two plums. After departing the albergue on the Camino Francés, I’d walked hardly a kilometer (0.62 miles) west of Villatuerta before passing this picturesque agricultural structure, perhaps a barn, bathed in the reddish light of the recently risen sun.
