Camino pilgrims stop for early morning coffee and pastry at a café in Logroño, Spain

15 Sep 2013, 07:05. A day on the Camino usually begins long before sunrise (and often after a poor night’s sleep in a pilgrim albergue) with a stop at a café for a pastry with strong coffee or a double espresso. Here I dine with fellow pilgrims Ramon and Maria on our way out of Logroño, Spain.
