Camino pilgrims Maria and her husband Ramon pass a memorial noting (by my best interpretation) where a pilgrim had died on their way to Santiago de Compostela. The location is approximately a 30-minute walk (2.1 km [1.3 miles]) from our previous night’s lodging in Atapuerca, Spain.
