24 Sep 2013, 08:30. At a distance 7.7 km (4.8 miles) west of my previous night’s lodging in Carrión de los Condes (Spain), pilgrims are seen traversing a 12 km (7.4 mile) section of the 2000-year-old Roman road known as the Via Aquitana that formed part of the medieval Camino Francés. My shadow selfie makes apparent the recent sunrise. |
