A pilgrim dormitory viewed from my bed at the Albergue El Serbal y la Luna (English translation: The Rowan and the Moon) on the Camino Francés in Pieros, Span. I arrived here after a relatively short-distance day of only 18 km (11.1 miles) necessitated by my desire to lodge at one of the few “vegan” albergues on the Camino. The albergue did not disappoint in the quality of its cuisine nor in its ambience. The steps at right lead to the kitchen, dining, area, and bath facilities.
