5 Oct 2013, 21:18. Pilgrims at Albergue El Serbal y la Luna (Pieros, Spain) were served one of the more imaginative dinners I had on the Camino—all food being plant based (vegan). The first course consisted of roasted red peppers with blanched almonds. Second course was couscous with sautéed eggplant, carrot, and onion. In this photo, a few pilgrims linger in conversation at the dinner table while finishing a dessert of fresh fruit. |
