These pilgrims are some of the American college students I’d met the previous day at Albergue Villamayor de Monjardín and with whom I walked that morning while discussing U.S. politics and environmental policies. The location on the Camino Francés is approximately 6 km (3.6 miles) west of Villamayor de Monjardín, Spain.
