| 19 Sep 2013, 11:26. On the extreme left and extreme right are Camino pilgrims Ramon and Maria with whom I’d walked, dined, and lodged over the previous week. In the center is another pilgrim couple (Larry and Jan) with whom I’d walked sporadically since before I’d met Ramon and Maria. Here in Burgos we prepared to go our separate ways. Ramon and Maria chose to bus across the central portion of the Camino and then walk to Santiago from Sarria. Larry and Jan continued walking from Burgos that same day. And I chose to sightsee in Burgos through the next day before continuing toward Santiago. |
