Across the Camino Francés small grocery stores like this one in Hornillos del Camino offer to pilgrims a variety of fresh produce as well as some prepared items like cheese, chocolate, wine, soups, and sandwiches. The sign above the store entrance proclaims that the distance remaining to Santiago is 469 km (291 miles). |
