While walking the Camino Francés out of León, I encountered this fellow pilgrim from the U.S. with whom I’d shared a 55-km (34-mile) taxi ride from the Biarritz airport to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port—the city from which we’d begun walking the Camino on September 6th. This was the first that we’d again met since the day of that taxi ride.
