15 June 2018, 19:17. Mosaic on the wall of the New York City subway station at 50th Street and 7th Avenue depicts a scene modeled on L. Frank Baum’s children’s novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its cinematic adaptation The Wizard of Oz. The mosaic depicts Dorothy exposing the wizard behind the cur­tain as a fraud. But in the various productions it was Dorothy’s dog Toto that exposed the wizard. Here Dorothy ap­pears standing on a trash receptacle.
