| 6 Sep 2013, 16:42. After nearly 10 hours of walking I arrived at the day’s destination—Roncesvalles (“Valley of Thorns”) where I lodged at the church-administered albergue. After obtaining a bed, I washed clothes (never skip the opportunity to launder), showered, and searched the town for a meal free of animal-based ingredients. |
