After a pleasant night at the large, modern Albergue Santiago Apóstol west of the rio Arga across from Puente la Reina, Spain, I dined on a breakfast of orange, avocado, nectarine, and whole wheat crackers purchased from a local grocery store. Then I set out alone on the Camino Francés. This photo, taken after about an hour of walking, is a short distance east of Mañeru. |
