| 21 Sep 2013, 11:21. I was told by the Camino pilgrim on the right that as his time to complete the Camino was limited, he was striving each day to walk approximately 40 km (24.8 miles). The resulting late arrival at a day’s destination combined with the absence of an albergue reservation makes it less likely that a bed would be available at the pilgrim albergues. One would then need to seek lodging at a more expensive hostel or hotel. Current location: approximately 1.4 km (0.9 miles) west of Rabé de las Calzados, Spain. |
