Hay bales in harvested field along the Camino Francés west of Rabé de las Calzados, Spain

21 Sep 2013, 11:45. Across the Camino Francés I was fascinated by the patterns presented by agricultural fields. This easterly view, approximately 3.5 km (2.2 miles) west of Rabé de las Calzados, had a particularly interesting arrangement of hay bales and harvesting trails left by machinery. Approaching pilgrims can be seen at the upper left. I recall this being one of the warmest days I experienced on the Camino, probably about 28° C (80° F).
