8 Oct 2013, 07:47. Camino pilgrims enjoy a late breakfast in the first-floor front room of Albergue Ecológico El Beso in A Balsa, Spain. The meal included crepes, typically made with eggs (and maybe butter), neither of which I eat. But the albergue’s hospitalera assured me that mine, seen near the camera, were vegan. And that from her experience there was no noticeable difference in taste or texture from those made from a non-vegan recipe. |
